Here you’ll find my most recent illustrations – playful, colourful and thoughtfully created by Karin Carolina Poiesz ( Karin Poiesz) I regularly join illustration challenges, which spark new ideas and daily doodles. Afterwards, I often continue developing these drawings at a slower pace, adding more detail and colour. New work is added regularly, so you’re always welcome to come back and take a look.

From doodle to illustration

I’m fascinated by the small delivery robots in Tokyo.
They move quietly among the people, stop at traffic lights,
some bring sushi, others medicine or mail.
This illustration started as a quick doodle. I decided to stay close to the original sketch, letting the shapes, colours and details unfold naturally.

Pink platform shoes. For this prompt, I only made doodles. I liked this one so I shared it on my Instagram account Karin Carolina. The shoes can be coloured in any way you like -pink, striped, or even covered in flowers. It’s always a surprise what appears from my pen, and the colouring is left to the viewer’s imagination.
